Exhibition launch - Twelve Degrees of Latitude: Regional Gallery and University Art Collections in Queensland As part of the Summit program this landmark exhibition celebrating Queensland's 150th year was launched at Perc Tucker Regional Gallery on Friday September 11. Co-curators Bettina MacAulay and Brett Adlington presented a walk through of the exhibition on Saturday 12 September.
The Fourth National Public Galleries Summit is an initiative of Museum and Gallery Services Queensland in partnership with Townsville City Council and Perc Tucker Regional Gallery; M&GNSW; RGAQ; RPGNSW; RGASA; PGAV; Art on the Move; Artback NT; National Services Te Paerangi; Tweed River Art Gallery. The 2009 National Public Galleries Summit is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
