| Queensland Dairy and Heritage Museum, Murgon |
Did you know... Did you know that the Museum building was the old Bank of New South Wales building, built in 1902? It was moved to the complex in 1988 and set up as the Dairy Museum, with large displays from the industry.
The Queensland Dairy and Heritage Museum's collection is from all over Australia as well as some imported items. It includes jewellery, dolls' furniture made from rock, and polished stones in all sizes and shapes.
Did you know... Did you know that, at the Museum site, is a fully restored, old chapel? It was a church built at Hurstville in 1932, and was moved to the site in 2005.
The Chapel has an old-world charm and includes hymn and prayer books dating back to 1880. Near the chapel is the first home built in Murgon (Castra). It's fully restored with a lot of original items from the 1800-1900s.
Did you know... Did you know that the chapel is now available for weddings and christenings? The building was given a new lease of life and reopened in March 2009.
