Join the celebrations of Museums Alight! 2010 by visiting the 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry) Museum on Sunday 16 May, when they specially open their doors to the public, outside of normal trading hours.
Visit the Museum to explore photographs and artefacts from when the Queensland Defence Force was first established on 27 February 1860, through the Boer War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam and other South East Asian deployments, up to current deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Did you know that you can see the flag made by the 'Ladies of Brisbane' and taken to the Bower War in 1899 or the Krupp Gun captured by the 11th Light Horse during World War I.
