Join the celebrations of Museums Alight! 2010 by visiting the Landsborough Museum from Wednesday 19 May to see their new display, Changing Faces of Government.

The Changing Faces of Government display includes:

Sir Francis Nicklin's Parliamentary desk which has recently been restored, as well as other items of memorabilia which belonged to him.
Memorabilia from John Tytherleigh's store. He was the first chairman of the Landsborough Shire in 1912.
Original logos from all previous councils and photos of past councillors.
Launch of an updated book on past Landsborough councils and councillors.
Murals telling the story of Landsborough's past. These depict the arrival of Captain Flinders right through to the electrification of the rail.
The next mural will focus on 'Shipwrecks', depicting the wreck of the SS Dicky and building of the Caloundra Lighthouse and the Centaur.
