| MAGNA 2011 Winners Announced! |
Congratulations to the winners and those shortlisted for the Museums and Galleries National Awards (MAGNA) 2011.
M&GSQ would like to congratulate the Gold Coast City Art Gallery who won in the Small Museum, Temporary Exhibition (budget >$25,000) category for the Kuru Alala: Eyes Open touring exhibition.
This touring exhibition showcases new work generated as a result of an extensive residency and workshop program held over 2 years in remote desert communities in Central Australia. The collaborative nature of the development of the exhibition aimed to stimulate greater awareness and insight into concepts of culture, country and community.
Congratulation to all those who were shortlisted for the Awards.
