ONE LOCATION. TEN VIEWPOINTS

In the Channel Country west of Quilpie, with vast tracts of red dirt, open skies and coolibah trees, is the Artist Camp of Bunginderry Station. This family-owned property has been made available for artists to retreat and create, 65 kms on the bitumen, turn right, then 14 kms along the dirt track!

Bunginderry presents works by ten of their visiting artists, curated from works completed during Artists Camps over a five year period. The series of paintings brings together artistic responses to the contrasting geological ecosystems of Bunginderry station.

Ochre, acrylic and oil paintings of river-red gums, rock-holes and Grey Range vistas offer a connection with the region’s arid, at times dramatic and changeable landscape. A DVD of the landscape’s views is available with the show.
