A conversation with the past is the second exhibition from Queensland Museum’s collection of glass plate negatives by former Ipswich coachbuilder A. E. (Bert) Roberts.

The Queensland Museum holds more than 1000 glass plate negatives and prints taken by Bert Roberts and the A Conversation from the Past exhibition will feature more than 40 photographs from this amazing collection.

The images in the exhibition range from historic events such as a visit to Ipswich by the then Prime Minister Sir George Reid to more ordinary activities like a young child playing their piano.
